dexmachina writes “A team of theoreticians, led by a group from Imperial College London, has released calculations that show string theory makes specific, testable predictions about the behaviour of quantum entangled particles. Professor Mike Duff, lead author of the study from the Department of Theoretical Physics at Imperial College London, commented, ‘This will not be proof that string theory is the right “theory of everything” that is being sought by cosmologists and particle physicists. However, it will be very important to theoreticians because it will demonstrate whether or not string theory works, even if its application is in an unexpected and unrelated area of physics.’ In other words, string theory may finally have shed its critics’ most common complaint: unfalsifiability. However, given the second most common complaint, I can’t help but wonder: which string theory?”

Question by FashionMista: Looking for a strength plan I can live with; any suggestions?
I have recently began working out again and while I think I have the cardio aspect of my fitness plan down, I’m struggling to find a suitable strength training plan. I prefer weight machines to free weights, but I wonder if I’m getting enough from my workouts by using machines and I’m never quite sure which machines to use to get an allover body workout, so many of them appear to work the same muscles. I don’t really care for free weights because to use them at my gym is a real hassle, I’m allover the gym jumping from this exercise to that exercise, not really knowing which exercises to do or how. And then of course, when you enter the realm of free weights, there tends to be a certain type of individual you encounter that I don’t really care to have to deal with. You know the guys that look like they live in the gym, who’s egos tend to match the size of their muscles. Then they shoot you those looks as if to say, “You don’t belong here, go back to the machines!” Please help.
Let me also specify; I am not looking to put on mass. My goal is to lose a significant amount of weight (20 lbs. to start) while at the same time adding some muscle and defining my body.

Women carrying the BRCA1 and BRCA2 genetic mutations for breast cancer could benefit from having double mastectomies before they develop cancer. “We found mastectomy provided huge risk reduction of subsequent breast cancer diagnosis and death,” says the author of a new study.

<img alt=""cancer specialist"" src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3232/2675640427_b82e29ce18_m.jpg" width="160" title="??????>The Link between Gynecology and Breast Cancer" />
by RightBrainPhotography

??????>The Link between Gynecology and Breast Cancer

Complex gynecological conditions encompass several serious diseases including cancer and it is pertinent to consider them jointly to diagnose and treat in a professional and knowledgeable manner. If you are living in New York City or anywhere in the State it would be wise to be in touch with a complex gynecology specialist who has experience of multifarious conditions and their successful treatment. There are several NYC Gynecologist specialists who will fill in the gap and the best way of considering one for consultations or treatment will be by looking at their qualifications, experience, credentials and recommendations etc. The best bet would be those Gynecologists who take care in efficient promotion of their practice and what better place to look for them than the Internet! Experienced specialists believe in a mission or philosophy that the relationship between the doctor and patient is truly a partnership and treatment or diagnoses is mutually discussed and explained to make the treatment a lot more comfortable for both. Each patient is considered an individual VIP or very important “Patient”!

Gynecology does not mean only that pertaining to the female reproductive organs and associated parts. With an experienced and professional gynecologist it also signifies the related maladies like breast cancer etc. The good NYC Breast Cancer specialist should also be your chosen gynecologist for the treatment to be effective and complete. What are the basics of a gynecologist who also looks after your malignant and non malignant tumors in other parts of the body? Some salient features are:

Prevention of gynecological and mammary cancers

Minimizing side effects due to these ailments

Managing various important and difficult diagnosis tests

Counseling for patients who are stressed with their condition

Complete diagnosis and treatment to ensure a favorable prognosis of the disease

In all such conditions the pre-invasive diseases must be well managed to control any malignant spread in the gynecological sense and breast cancers. It is paramount that your chosen physician in the gynecological and cancer treatment field is considerate with your knowledge or the lack of it and explains all problems or treatments in an understandable language. In brief, the gynecologist must be well experienced in the psychological approach as well! In such cases common sense must prevail to look for the exposure your gynecologist has in the area of malignancy and if they have had contacts with known institutions like Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center and have a reputation in oncological practice with wide history of contributing their knowledge to the society at large.

Trailrunner7 writes “Google has released a new version of its Chrome browser and has included more than a dozen security fixes in the update. The new version, 6.0.472.53, was released two years to the day after the company pushed out the first version of Chrome. Google Chrome 6 includes patches for 14 total security vulnerabilities, including six high-priority flaws, and the company paid out a total of ,337 in bug bounties to researchers who reported the vulnerabilities. A number of the flaws that didn’t qualify for bug bounties were discovered by members of Google’s internal security team.” (Read on for more, below.)

Question by i am Sirius: What is the key for which we are all searching?
ki, qi, chi, prana = life force, vital energy…

Its purpose is what? If the key is “vital energy,” how are we to use it? It flows freely, but what does it mean in terms of being human; of “remembrance”; of karma, dharma, samsaras, moksha, etc.? What are we, but vital energy, and how do we experience this life energy and to what means, especially if the “key” is ki/qi/chi/prana? Does “It” (the Source/Mystery/Unknowable) direct the ki or are we to direct this life force ourselves? If we are to use the ki within as the key, what is the purpose we are to achieve…leave the body; regard the body as a holy temple (temporary?); make a “successful life” using the body/mind to do so; transcend the body knowing it is unreal? If we are to regard the body/mind as an illusion, how precisely does the ki catapult us out of the illusion? And then, what comes of the ki? What relationship is the vital energy to Light?

Your thoughts…

Best answer:

Answer by Bobby
It can’t be found. The last guy who discovered it, swallowed the key.
