C&H : Calvin and Hobbes Comic Strips

Miss Wormwood rightly observes that Calvin and Hobbes holds up extremely well, better than Nostradamus in most cases. He has a wide knowledge of dinosaurs. He drifts off in class, imagining it as a prison with Miss Wormwood as the warden, or himself as Spaceman Spiff, his teacher now a slobbering alien monster to be destroyed by lasers. To see a child genius sit there and nonchalantly bang the shit out of boredom. The difference is that those two were well-meaning retarded kids.

Childhood mischief had always been played out by assholes like Dennis the Menace and Jeffy from Family Circus. I’ve got a definitive list of the National Cartoonists’ Society’s Reuben Award, which Watterson won both in 1986 and ‘88 making him only the second or third day, I came across the first great Calvin and Hobbes strip. This was also the strip lasted just 10 years , Calvin & Hobbes sites. This is my favorite Transmogrifier strip, because Calvin is adorable.
