Energy Access Vital to Success of Millennium Development Goals
“If the Millennium Development Goals are to be achieved, energy access to developing countries is crucial,” Kandeh Yumkella, Director General of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) and Chair of UN-Energy, told MediaGlobal in New York this week, following the launch of the 2010 global agenda of the Advisory Group on Energy and Climate Change.
